Fried chicken was delicious and crunchy. Service was counter service and they were friendly, fast and efficient. I enjoyed their hospitality. Ambiance was good, it was a busy place for lunch, as that's their only time they serve food. Everyone is coming in and out to get themselves a piece of crispy chicken . Would recommend if you are looking for southern cooking during lunch time!
First time at this restaurant great food great atmosphere!! They came and checked on me several times, refilled my drink took away my dirty plate, great place to eat!
In my opinion the best establishments, are discovered by word of mouth and everyone I asked in Dothan told me to check out this restaurant. The food is served cafeteria style and you can choose the classic southern plate of one meat with three sides. By the number of call in orders coming in and the packed parking lot, I definitely made the right choice to dine.
Very good fried and baked chicken. The mac and cheese and blackeyed peas were also good. Fried cornbread is worth the trip. Reasonable prices and friendly staff. Was crowded at noon with little seating left but we were invited to sit with one of the employees. Nice folks.
This is true southern food- wow! Small meat and 2 with tables to sit and eat at. It gets so busy that they sometimes can't answer the phone. Just go!
